2. Erciyes (Surry Hills)

Erciyes is a family run business that has been around for decades, and they make everything in house. When you walk in, you can smell the warm aromas of freshly made Turkish bread coming hot out of the oven. They have an adjacent up-scale dine-in restaurant too, so you get the choice between a classic takeaway kebab or a trendy sit-down dinner. All the food is halal, but heads up their restaurant does serve alcohol.

Under new management, this kebab shop is a no non-sense place for a solid kebab feed. They do fantastic pides too, and of course everything is 100% halal. They also don’t play any music on the speakers which is an added bonus for all you music-avoiders.

4. Golden Pide (Surry Hills

Another cornerstone location in Surry Hills, Golden Pide is pretty much part of the neighbourhood furniture. Their kebabs, halal snack packs and pides are absolutely delicious, and this place is a favourite among the locals.
